our story feels a little like the plot of a romantic comedy---we begin on opposite sides of the world but find ourselves both moving to the same town as kids, living just down the street from one another. we orbited around each other while attending the same middle and high school---going to the same parties, parks, sandwich shops, and view spots---but we never really met until the summer after graduation at a mutual friend's house in lake tahoe. life took us on separate journeys for about 10 years but our paths continued to move in parallel, taking similar twists and turns.

fast forward to 2018---we are both living in oakland. a chance run-in with friends after a birthday celebration leads to a facebook message, which leads to a friendly beer in a downtown bar. we traded stories from the past decade while listening to j. cole and realized how much our life experiences shaped us into two very compatible people with a unique shared history.

cue dating montage–our connection was sparked and our relationship grew through sunday morning coffees, walking along the water in jack london square, adventures to stinson beach, warriors games, camping on the central coast, going to shows, and making memories with our people. but at the end of the day–the simple moments of just doing life together became the foundation of our love. as the years went on we continued to grow together and knew we wanted to share our lives for always—so—we’re getting married!

we're opting for a small wedding ceremony at san francisco city hall with just family, but couldn't imagine celebrating without all of our closest people (you!) so november 1st we're hosting a big celebration dinner at the wayfare tavern in san francisco. it’s all about being together to share stories and laughs with good food and good people. your presence means the world to us and we hope you can make it.
